Jasmine & Flowers, a fragrant green tea with a surprising and captivating floral character accentuated by May Jasmine blossoms.
Jasmine Tea is one of the most pleasant tasting green teas available on the market. On the nose the dry tea has a floral bouquet enlivening the senses. The flavor is enhanced with the addition of jasmine flowers giving a visual appeal. The grade is Jasmine Grade #1; one step below the exotic jasmine blends. Production of jasmine tea begins with high quality green tea between March and May. The fine jasmine blossoms are gathered between the beginning and end of May.
Ingredients: Green tea, Jasmine Flowers
Serve Hot or Iced
Hot: Serving Size: 1 slightly heaping teaspoon (1.8g) per 8 oz. water. Steep for 2 - 3 minutes with water slightly under boiling point (194F); Sweeten to taste.
Iced: (1L/QT) 6 slightly heaping teaspoons loose tea, pour 1 1/4 cup boiling water, steep 5 minutes. Strain tea through ice, top off pitcher, add additional ice. Garnish with fresh peppermint, sliced apples & sweeten to taste.
Jasmine Green Tea Latte
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 teaspoon Bluffton Tea’s Jasmine Green & Flowers Tea
- 1 cup non dairy milk (non-sweetened almond or soy milk)
- 1/8 t matcha or vanilla powder
- optional, sweeten to taste with agave or maple syrup to taste.
Steep your tea in 1 cup of boiling water.
Heat your milk either on the stove top or in the microwave. Pour into your blender, add sweetener as desired, and blend on high for 1 minute, or until frothy.
Combine tea and milk into your favorite mug, thermos or mason jar.
Top with a sprinkle of either the matcha or vanilla powder.
