White Peony Tea
is on back order
White Peony Tea of the Harvest 2015.
Our White Peony (Bai MU Dan) is traditional style and tea looks fresh and natural. It's a subtle colorful mix of leaves ranging in color from light green to dark green to light tan mixed with silvery buds. Harvested and traditionally processed from the first pluckings of spring in Fuding County.
Nuanced and sweet taste with a "round" mouth appeal that will linger. This lot has a comparatively high percentage of unopened buds noting its quality and the lot is rich and consistent in flavor. Processed by withering in a cool to warm room on bamboo racks and then heat dried, its blend of leaf shapes, colors and buds yield a clear, straw-like cup liquor and tastes of melon, grape and herbs.
